I went there on a weekday at around 4 p.m. There was only one more woman in the Onsen when I arrived. However, when I left, more than four women were using the Onsen. So maybe the best time to go would be before 4 p.m since not so many people fit in the Onsen (maybe 5 max). The Onsen itself was slightly hotter then the ones I've been to in Japan.
