I stumbled upon this traditional Japanese confectionery shop by chance on my way to Ukimidou Temple. It's a small, family-run business by a kind father and son. Although they speak limited English, their warmth was clear through their handmade mochi and sweets. We communicated using Google Translate, and they humbly shared that the shop has been around since 1923, a tradition passed down for over 100 years. This unexpected visit brought a quiet joy to my journey. I wish them and their family continued health and happiness.
