Cinema Sunshine Yukarigaoka — Local services in Sakura

Maybe I rate this cinema a little high because it's not very popular. It has gone through a Warner Brothers and Aeon Cinemas manifestations and hopefully is under steady and healthy ownership at the moment.

The theater is very clean and the staff are extremely helpful if you approach them. Ticketing is all done in a self-service style and seats can be reserved via the website. There is a rewards program and an mobile app that gives access to discounts. Other special pricing features exist based on age, schooling or day of the week (for example, shows on Wednesdays are only 1,200 yen - very reasonable considering what you'd pay at other cinemas on a normal day).

They do not have an IMAX theatre and I am not sure if they have 3D capability or not. I saw an action movie and was pleased with the sound and picture quality.

I was tempted to buy a popcorn before the show, but it was 400 yen for a small. As I didn't see any indication of how "big" a small is, and as it looked like maybe the popcorn wasn't recently popped, I decided against it.

If I am in the area again, I plan to see a film here...

土日に利用。混雑するというほどではなかった。人気作品があってもすごく混み合っている様子ないので当日現地購入でも見られること多そう。 昔ながらの映画館で懐かしさあふれている。シアター数は多くはないものの観たい作品があるなら良きといったところだろうか。椅子はふかふかと幅広めな座席。 音響や映像はいいというよりも標準程度かな。 また午前十時の映画祭も開催している会場なためコアなファンも愛用している雰囲気。 客層もどの作品でも他より落ち着いて映画観たい人にはおすすめな環境だ。わいわいはしゃぎたい学生さんには不向きかも。 お手洗いが劇場内になく会場外のエスカレーターで降りた先しかない。入場前に全員必ず入ることをおすすめする。また子ども1人で上映中にお手洗い行かせるのは本当に危険な劇場。チケット持って退場し、エスカレーター降りてお手洗い利用。そこからのエスカレーター登ってチケット提示し対象シアターへ行くのは小学生でもハードル高そう。保護者の方は本当に気をつけて。 シネマサンシャイン系列だからブランケット置いてあるのも嬉しい。無料で利用できる会場なかなかないからなぁ。会場は他のシネマサンシャインよりは寒くなく快適だった。他の映画館と比べると若干寒い。利用する際は夏場でも羽織ものなどの寒さ対策することをおすすめする。 従業員が少ない印象で売店が混雑することもあるが混雑してても大体15分もあれば購入は絶対にできるような列だ。メニュー決めて訪れると良い。シネマサンシャイン系列だがメニューにポテトないのは残念だった。

電車での利用だと駅チカで雨に濡れず行けるのはありがたいが案内なくて迷うかも。駅出て左手にある最初の建物の中にシネマサンシャインがある。映画のポスターが左手に若干貼ってあるのを目印にするといい。早朝はエレベーターもしくは階段のみ利用可。 駐車場は場所によって料金変わる。場所によって駐車料金対応時間異なるため注意したほうがいい。ワイパークスカイプラザに停めてしまうと映画利用しても1時間しか無料にならないため他...
