The Studio Ghibli (not the museum). If you walk by in the morning, maybe you might run into Miyazaki-sensei himself! Note that Ghibli is located in a residential neighborhood so if you are going to come by to pay your respects to the legendary studio, please do it quietly.

There are a couple other Ghibli landmarks in the neighborhood including Miyazaki's private studio... but I will not share their location. A diehard Ghibli fan can find them on their own!

Note that they do not like gawkers here, even if you are just walking by. If you spend any more time than just a quick walk through the neighborhood, don't be surprised if you are followed and told off by one of their English-speaking staff. A must-see for any Studio Ghibli fans, or those just interested in animation in general. Lots of fun and interactive exhibits, both inside and outside suitable for all ages. Incredible attention to detail around the museum. The cafe and gift shop are also nice but do get very crowded. Overall a very magical experience and one visit...
