Uomatsu — Local services in Tsukuba

Although I live quite near this supermarket I don't often go there. But my brother-in-law makes detours here on the way to and from Moriya because he says it's a very good place to get fish. I don't eat fish but there definitely is a big selection of fish at the back. Anyway he claims the fish selection is because the name of the supermarket means "fish" and "pine tree", although the fact that pine trees are not on sale might scotch his theory.

There is a very small selection of bakery items. Vegetables are more expensive here than other supermarkets. Tonkatsu meat is quite low priced especially at weekends. I also buy something called kopetto kimchi here, a Chinese brand of kimchi which comes in very small jars. I've never seen it on sale elsewhere.

初めて行きました。ちょうど創業祭のチラシが入り安かったので訪れてみました。 口コミにもありましたが、大勝軒やしまむらと同じ駐車場なのでいざ、うおまつの駐車場が混んでいてもどっかには停められそうな大スペース。スーパー自体は昔ながらのスーパー的な感じはありましたがこども用のカートがあったりキャッシュレス用の対応バッチリだったりとそこは今のご時世満足でした。しかもうおまつのカードが還元率1％と高いのも魅力でした。 入って野菜、果物から始まり、鮮魚、惣菜、精肉、日配/加食とまぁ普通の並びですがやはりうおまつだけって鮮魚は力入れてる感はありました。ただ意外と海外系も多く地元スーパーってことではないのかな?ってイメージです。 全体的にはまた訪れたい感はバッチリですが、いまいち魚以外売りにしてないかな感もありました。。。キャベツなどの半...
