On my first time going there the male employee working (forgot his name not Japanese) was very accommodating and has deep knowledge regarding some things about the place. However, yesterday when I went back it was different. The place was still good but the staff working that shift (female staff) was having a hard time accommodating me and even some customers due to her lack of english knowledge. Read moreFacts first then fun. Drive the forest trail if you want a winding, narrow driver through the mountain side. 500 parking fee. 800 entry once at the actual park. Fun facts- the hike alone was worth the 1300¥. Beautiful riverside turns into a mountain trail. Steep steps at first but not to difficult. Once in the park the monkeys were all over. It was not to cold so none were in the hot springs. We spent 30 minutes being totally surrounded by the monkeys.
