Akropole Alfa - Shopping center — Local services in Riga

Good amount of different shops - clothing, shoes, sports, camping gear, electronics, furniture and other home appliances and decorations as well a few other smaller shops. Great diversity. Mostly clothing though. Has a big RIMI (a food store, with other products as well. Decent/low prized, good quality) There is a good choice of places to eat as well. I but it's going to be a fast meal, not a place for enjoying the meal for 2 hours. It's a mall after all. Has a decent sized good quality movie-theatre, that offers 3D movies once in a while as well, as well it shows the latest movies, here You can also find a few arcades, so kids can have a bit of fun here as well. Has a small area for children. There is a good-sized free parking lot in front of the mall and behind the mall - a several story high parking. Easily accessible by public transport as well, though it's a bit of a ride from the centre of the town. Best is to use the tram number 6. In the evening though the transport and the mall can be a bit crowded.

Overall, it's a good mall, covers everything that one might need. Great cinema, good food, good shops, great for shopping. But being further from the centre is the reason why I give it 4 stars. If I could, I would...

Complaint Regarding Disrespectful Customer Service at Crocs Store – Alfa Akropole, Riga

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and dissatisfaction with the service I received at your Crocs store located in Alfa Akropole, Riga, on April 19, 2025.

I had visited the store with the intention of buying two pairs of Crocs. While the product itself met expectations, the customer service experience was extremely disheartening. After I made the purchase, the cashier not only failed to thank or acknowledge me but quite literally ignored me. There was no basic courtesy or gesture of appreciation for my business, which left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome. Such behavior is unacceptable and does not reflect the customer service standards one would expect from an international brand like Crocs. I felt so uncomfortable that I considered returning the items on the spot and have since decided that I will not return to this store in the future. Best place for shopping and a lot of restaurants are there. Alfa changed it's name to Akropole Alfa last week. Officially they announce it on March 10th. AKROPOLE Alfa” is the largest shopping centre in Latvia, offering a wide and varied range of fashion and services, including the popular H&M, Lindex and City Men & Women stores, as well as unique brand stores Zara Home, Home&you, Black Star Wear and others.
