LIDO Alfa — Restaurant in Riga

Lido is great for comfort food central, think american "greasy-spoon" type of restaurant. Portions are big and almost always very tasty. However, I will say that the food here a couple days ago was unexpectedly greasier than is typical. That combined with the stark modern layout and looping visuals on the massive TV's were off putting. Very unpleasant last visit 15/03/2024 to say the least. My main meal - rice with vegetable curry , which was so tasteless, I did not want to continue eating it. I kindly asked to the Cashier first, then had to speak to Floor Manager if there is any possibility to swap my food to at least potatoes (my food 5€, potatoes 2€ I am not asking much). They had poor attitude, the manager even rude( no hello, no sorry, no explanation) just sarcastically smiled at me and rhetorically said “how do you imagine this?” Food in bin and...

It is tucked away in the top floor of the mall and has an amazing g selection of all types of food, from pan seared salmon to an American style hamburger.

There is something for everyone, ypu just grab what you want from the buffet, pay and then enjoy the meal.

The food was excellent and very tasty

The Price was also very good. I was able to get a Fanta, a hamburger, chicken nuggets, onion rings, sweet potato fries and a desert all for only 18 Euro
