9 DRAKONI, Restorāns — Restaurant in Riga

My wife and I stopped by for supper last night. This restaurant is located on the top floor between other restaurants of this food court. There are plenty of seating arrangements, including a large round family table seating around 12 people. If you are a large group, I would definitely suggest a reservation. The menu for this restaurant is very large. I would actually suggest you take a look at it before you arrive. Secondly, I would have to say that if you want items to come out separately (appetizer, then main), you have to be clear to the staff that you don't want it all at the same time. We received everything we ordered at once, kind of strange. The food did come out very fast and it may be my favorite Asian food restaurant in the city. It does not serve sushi, so Gan Bei would still be the place to go for this at this mall. As for all their other choices, you should definitely try this place out - delicious. Next, pay attention to their serving sizes - you can end up with way too much food...fast hahaha. The good thing is, this restaurant may have the best leftover to go setup in the city - they will put it in a plastic container and then heat seal the top of it so it can't spill - awesome (see pic). I can certainly say that I will be back, but maybe order a little less food...enough for two people, not four...

Almost like being back in Hong Kong.

I grew up in HK and the food here tasted like my childhood. The garlic broccoli was like going back to when I was 12 and my family would go to Shek O for lunch.

I took my wife and daughter here today. The staff were attentive and kind. There was so much space which is great when you have a toddler and pram, etc… toys for her to play with and big windows which let in a lot of natural light. Even though it’s big and spacious, it still feels warm with a nice atmosphere.

Everything was brilliant. Thank you, we will definitely be back, to book the giant round table (01) for a big family...

nice atmosphere for shopping mall dinner. but the beef in the dish that was ordered is not chewable at all. from the word absolutely. it is impossible to chew. the tendons were not even cut out of the meat in order to save money and the weight of the portion. if a person with fillings comes, all his teeth will be left there. and everything is too salty, too much. service - we waited for the bill for 15 minutes, then another 15 minutes for someone to come to us to settle the bill. Tired of waiting, we went to the waiter ourselves. Boring, not tasty slowly...
