Lobby Lounge at Shangri-La's Rasa Ria Resort — Local services in Borneo

We drove to Shangri-La Rasa Ria after a stay at Gayang Friendly Homestay, and had lunch at the Lobby Lounge here. Ordered Nam Yue Chicken Wing (RM47 or 150 points) and Avocado Smoked Salmon Toast (RM40 or 130 points).

The lounge is bright and breezy, the food taste good too. Generous portion of smoked salmon on the toast. We paid using our Circle points, so it was like eating for free.

The wait staff is attentive, though food takes a while to be served. Prices are like what you would expect in a hotel like Shangri-La, but if you have Circle points (or if you feel like splurging), then it's a good place to chill and relax.

It’s been a while since I came here last time. Although this time it’s just a glass of draft beer, the feeling of nostalgia remains. Last time I drank here it was a 12 shots of rainbow shots made by a local skilled bartender.

It’s probably normal to get a room temperature glass for the draft beer but knowing me, I’m always the cold glass cold beer kinda guy. It just makes the experience much more enjoyable since you want to drink it slowly and enjoy the moment with family and friends.

A big gap of improvement needed .... training and knowledge on whats supposed to be served and also a proper understanding to be furnished with customers on the changed item from menu... 2 star food and pastry.... drinks is taking too long to be served as well... But we did Enjoyed the time...
