If you like indulging for Chinese and Malay bit-size snacks then your in the right place too. For more indulgence, get on the center of upper floor, finding a quick choice or take away, street style food for your morning breakfast such as noodle, vermicelli, laksa, fish head noodle, apam balik, mee jawa, Indian rojak and the list goes on. Adjacent on left/ring wing this level, are formerly small stalls relocated from main bazaar that provide services or trading of rare collectables, hobby toys, shoe repairs and dressmaking or alteration.

I’m reviewing the market food court. There are apparently a division of halal and nonhalal section of the foodcourt. So there is something for everyone.

Came here twice after my jog at a park nearby. So most my visits were between 10-11am the food court then were fairly occupied. Just nice for dining without the hustle and bustle. First visit I tried the fried noodle which was not bad. The highlight was during my second visit when we ordered kueh chap and curry noodle. My friend liked her Kueh Chap special- generous amount for the RM9 they charge. I had a normal one AND a curry noodle. The curry noodle was the bomb! Am zipping my lips of which stall it was from but happy hunting!

On a general review, most of the stalls here sell more or less the same things- a variety of fried ala carte meals. The trick is to look for the little difference in the offerings. My general impression is there is plenty of cheap honest food to explore. Keep this...

Reading rave reviews of stall FA2 - the 'Hainanese chicken rice' - went there for lunch. Am not going to repeat specialty of this stall as this has been elaborately mentioned in other reviews. Good portion, nice sauce (but did not really taste anything different), decent amount of cucumber and tasty soup with veggies (inclusive some lemon grass). Overall not bad, but I would not travel again some distance to eat this dish as I cannot find anything special about it. But it surely is one of the better chicken rice stalls. We went around 12 pm and by 12.20 pm they closed as they had sold out. From similar reviews we wanted to try the desserts from the joining stall FA1, but same was closed and got no information when it is open.
