福满楼 Fu Man Lou Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Sarawak

This particular stall in this coffeeshop shop serves smoked duck and pork, which is a rare find. They are smokey alright; but in a peculiar kind of way - ash and soot kind of taste, not the woody fragrance kind. The Foochow Zhi-Char stall at the back cooks up quite a storm of its Foochow Fried Noodle. Fried Dumplings with Pork and cabbage is quite good for its price. The Indonesian Chicken Curry, though it's sauce is good, is a bit too plain unlike those with potatoes. There's a Zhi-Char stall at the back of this foodcourt, that sells one-heck-of-a Chap-Chye-P'ng (mixed veg. rice); the way it ought to be, with pork, liver, prawns, fried fishballs slices...

Had diarrhea after dined in here. Today had fried chicken wing and Thai food.

Fried chicken wing - not well marinated, taste very blant, quite oily and not crunchy.

Minced pork rice - Taste not authentic. Couldn't taste the basil at all. Very dry and overcooked minced pork, might be overnight food as I went as soon as they opened. Portion was much smaller compared to what advertised on BFH.

Will not be returning to...

Accidentally found a Gem in stutong area 🤣 was actually planning to have the Ah Lian's Noodle at the coffee shop beside it but it was closed.

Tried the kueh chap at Fu Man Lou and it was surprisingly quite good ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Normal size costs Rm 7 per bow. For the meat they have given I think its very reasonable 👍
