Read moreThis temple is incredibly popular with local tourists. Busloads of local (mostly elderly/retired) folks stream in and out of the temple while we were there. The temple custodians have done an excellent job enhancing the temple grounds with exhibitions that attracts modern day tourists and yet maintain the function of the temple. There were plenty of beautiful murals, small museum of traditional curios, colorful sculptures depicting taoist culture and gods and other eccentric displays that are definitely instagram/tiktok worthy to tourists. The displays are quite haphazard and very cramped but it is is positioned well to the satisfaction of the social media folks. On top of this, it is free entry. Parking is also free of charge. Read moreVery nice place to learn about Tangka oldest temple around, interior design is out of the roof with water spitting dragons not 1 or 2 but 5 water spitting dragons, plus they also have cute tortoises as well, would recommend those tht are around the area to visit and learn a little bit of the history of Tangka Oldest Temple...
