Doggies were sooo cute but I really wish for better management of the place. I might not wish to visit anymore because it feels bad to support such a business because of the following reasons: 1) there were no rules for visitors. I saw some kids really just force carrying the small dogs even when they are growling and trying to escape. One of the kid even flexed to me that he carried a small Pom to the big dogs section and the small Pom almost got eaten by the big ones. Honestly, the parents who are watching their kids as they do these kind of nonsense are really terrible… but surely the cafe has a part to play, set some rules in place and step in when these kids who don’t know better won’t do such things to the precious babies. 2) doggos were aggressive to one another and biting each other to the point of injuries. I saw several dogs that were already injured and while I was there I also saw them getting injured. I checked with staff and staff said they do apply meds which is good but in the first place they should be better taken care of to avoid such behaviour 3) I went there at 1pm when they were first opened, for about 2h. Half of the big dogs were perpetually sleeping. It’s not a good practice to make the dogs work for such long hours, no segregation between work and rest, and because they have to be there for such long hours, those which are tired have got no proper environment to rest. As a business it makes sense to maximise profits, but when you are running a dog cafe you gotta make sure it’s ethical and not a torture to your doggos. It might also be a better experience for visitors if visiting hours are reduced; they might come more often if they see the doggos being well rested and energetic. 4) there were so many dogs and very few staff watching, were not able to step in to stop some of the fights happening

There are many dogs there and they are all very friendly, space is big and you can pat or feed the dogs. Note that socks are required and place may be a bit messy during water breaks.

The cafe is located in a relatively isolated place in an industrial area but it is easy to get to by car or cab. Entry fee is 35 RM (inclusive of complementary ice cream and 1x dog food packet ) and they sell finger food as well as drinks at a very reasonable price. There are two ‘sections’, one for the big dogs and another for the small dogs which is separated by a gate that is easily accessible. They have a wide variation of dog breeds, corgi/golden retriever/ pomeranian etc. The dogs were all very friendly and energetic when we went in the afternoon around 2pm on a Sunday. They were all craving for our attention often coming in for a belly rub or a pat! The place was very clean, the staff cleans any poo or urine on the floor immediately and sprays the spot with aromatics, hence the place smelt very pleasant. The staff were all very friendly, helping us gather the dogs for a photo. The place was also very aesthetic! Do remember to bring your own socks if not you have to purchase 1! Overall a very pleasant experience and will highly recommend if you are looking for a dog cafe to go!

We went to Chow Q 2.0 today and despite so many "positive" reviews (which seems very dubious to us now), we were first "greeted" by an extremely rude Malaysian Chinese bi-spectacle skinny guy. He don't speak well nor clearly and even had difficulties understanding our orders. After fumbling with our orders, he didn't even told us what to do or what to expect. He didn't even explained to us there's a number to collect our drinks. And when we ask, he rudely replied us "WAIT!!" It's like we owe him 1 billion MYR! Anyway we proceed to enter and like what most reviews here echoes, the conditions of most dogs looks poorly managed! Some of their furs looks tangled and mangled! Furthermore, the whole place had heavy dog smell and worst was the urine/ammonia smell is choking! We didn't stayed long and proceeded to the cats section. Upon entering, the first thing we noticed was the room was very warm! And the cats looks very skinny and malnutrition! If there is a classic sample of animal abuse and exploitation of animals to earn money, this place sets the perfect standard. Hence word of advise to ALL animal lovers, we need to stop feeding and encouraging demands for such irresponsible places from booming and expanding, hence pls DO NOT visit this place ANYMORE!! UPDATE (15 APR '24): we had quite a bad diarrhea whole of today, which we highly suspect it's the drinks from this cafe due to the extreme lax of hygiene! The authorities SHOULD investigate...

ChowQ 2.0 is located in a quiet corner of Mount Austin, and is quite easy to locate. It is a huge establishment with plenty of seating. There were a large number of dogs as well, well trained and friendly. Entry is RM 30 per adult, for an unlimited duration. You get one scoop of ice cream per entry, per ticket. The place was advertised as having a pet store, as well as a pool, but when we went the pool was empty and dry, and no pet store in sight. There were no puppies for adoption as advertised, so potential paw-rents, you can look elsewhere. There werent many food options, but i guess that part was already in the cafe description. So have a good meal before you come here. The jarring thing about this cafe is that the staff werent friendly. Even upon arrival, we stood at their entrance for quite a while before anyone came out and attended to us. Mind you, the cafe just opened and was relatively empty. There were at least 3-4 staff members at the entrance who just ignored us. Upon entry, we were given 2 treat pouches to feed the dogs (part of the ticket purchased). The dogs were gentle and ate from your palms. . All in all, it was a fun experience playing with the dogs, but probably not keen on returning as the whole mood of the place was a little dulled out because of the staff, both the dog keepers as well as the person behind...
