Extra-mile service is always the best thing that consumers can appreciate. This is not the first time I tried JWC (my first experience was in Aeon Terbau branch, food was okay too but service just average), but I was really impressed this time round.
A very big warm welcome from every staff made me very paiseh but I really appreciate it! We went there at around 7pm but surprisingly there wasn't many customers. The place was huge, there were many big dining table as well as sofa seats, and even a bar area to let you enjoy coffee, and of course they also have a second floor. We chose a sofa seat, comfy!
We ordered: Irish Coffee RM40 Aoarashi Matcha Latte RM18 Laksa Spaghetti RM29 Mentaiko Spaghetti Rm30 (of course DESSERT too! ) Flaming Slizzing Brownie RM25
We were invited by the friendly staff to watch the preparation of Irish Coffee. The barista brew the coffee with a siphon coffee maker and heated the whisky with a Bunsen burner. I always knew that a siphon coffee maker is very hard to use so I was very impressed by its usage. The barista explained to us about how to drink an Irish coffee. It has greatly widened my horizon.
The Irish coffee was the ultimate indulge. It had a deep rich flavor from the strong coffee, aromatic whisky, sweet flavor from the sugar, and a satisfying full mouth feel from the cream. Laksa spaghetti really WOWed me, the fusion of Asian and Italian cuisine is flavorful. Metaiko spaghetti taste well too. The salmon was juicy and tender. Last but not least, my FAV dessert - Brownie. It was rich and fudgy in the middle, crusty tops with brain freezing vanilla ice-cream. The best combination of HOT AND COLD!
These cost us Rm164.70. Above average price but fantastic experience. Nice environment - the toilets are clean! A place that I will bring my parents...

We were seated at the smallest table, right next to the passage leading to the toilet. The table was wet, and the waiter simply placed the menu on the wet surface, which explains why the menu was dirty.
I asked the waiter to wipe the table, but he returned with a dark-colored wet rag. Instead of cleaning, he just spread the liquid around, leaving the table still wet. The staff clearly lacks basic hygiene practices. When table dried, it leave water stain on table surface, which evidence rag cleanliness.
At the entrance, the bean roaster was roasting coffee beans. While we were waiting, some kids started playing with the beans, spilling them on the floor. Another child picked them up and put them back into the roaster. This raises serious concerns about hygiene.
It’s clear that a lot of money has been spent on décor to impress customers to charge higher price on food, but the food safety standards are unacceptable.
Owners Nelson Lai and Eng Boon Hong proudly display numerous certificates for coffee brewing, but there’s a glaring omission—certification in food safety.
We ordered a burger that was served on a stainless steel plate. The plates were uneven, causing them to turn whenever we tried to cut our food.
Roaster shows “do not step” (on the platform) but more important is do not touch the beans. Furthermore, owners should have place cover to avoid...
