Amazing place! If you go in May the water is cold but go in anyway and after 1 minute you will adapt. Go early otherwise it will get full like no tomorrow. Chairs cost 5 and umbrellas 10 euros. The alcoholic pineapple is a 10 euros rip off but it is tasty (refills are 5 euros). There seems to be a Ferry from Malta that costs 15 euros to the Blue Lagoon. There might be another one from Gozo.

September 9, 2022. This is not a lagoon, it's a shopping mall before Christmas. An assembly line for mediocre pineapple drinks and fast food. A cliff where everyone tries to find an (un)comfortable seat. Sunbeds (2+umbrella) are 25 euros, but you could be sitting in row 10 on the concrete, with the water entry way down below. Either on the sunbeds or in the water, you're involuntarily hugging neighbors, it's that crowded.

There are feathers, plants, cigarette buds in the water. The colour is nice, but that is the only positive thing that can be said. If you've ever stepped foot in a similar place before, cherish the memory of that lagoon and don't come to this one. Or visit it from a boat, the land part is a dump.

A limit of visitors could be imposed to respect the lagoon, the people who come and the services they can access. But that...

Arriving early (9:30am) at Comino Island gave us the illusion of paradise, but only an hour in, things started looking very different. Crowds of people arrived on ships from every angle and before we knew it, we were on a very small island suffering from claustrophobia! Blue lagoon is the ONLY space on the Island with a few meters of sandy beach and it costs €15 for a deck chair (extremely overpriced). We stayed for 20 minutes, had a swim in the dirty water and gave up on the idea of experiencing paradise. We left feeling really sad about this. Thinking maybe they should have a limit control on how many people can come to the Island, but unfortunately it's about making money... So, if you don't mind rubbing shoulders with hundreds of people and confined space, then go. I will not recommend it to...
