It’s a nice market on Sundays at this marina. A lot of people, mostly tourists, come here to shop and eat. Some of the vendors are unreasonably expensive, for example, for one small hand made hair bow, a vendor asked for $200 pesos! In any other Mexican context, this price would be insane. Some food vendors were charging a lot as well. So shop around if you are on a budget. We eventually ended up eating at MIXIOTE MACHETES which offered amazing food at a reasonable price. We are staying at Puerto Vallarta. So if you are staying in PV and want to go, it is quite far, approximately 45 min drive. We went there using Uber. If it’s too far, many of the same vendors would attend the Thursday Puerto Vallarta marina market as well. Overall, we really enjoyed the market!

The Sunday morning market in La Cruz Huanacaxtle offers so much goodness! The combination of the vast array of food, the beautiful handmade jewelry, the plethora of unique art and the uber talented musicians truly draw the community together. So many people gather here, it is difficult to get great photos. Here are just a few I shot today!

Me gusto mucho. Lleva protector solar puesto y sombrero. No olvides tu bolsa para las compras. Ahh! La vista es maravillosa 😍

Fun little market to visit but so f**king overpriced. Still, worth a visit if you're traveling in the area, but I wouldn't come again. đŸ„Č

At the beginning of the market, you'll find artsy products, jewelry, clothing etc... There are some really cute things.

At the complete end, you'll find the food vendors. There are some great vegan options, including tamales, falafel pitas. I had an AMAZING spinach and pine nut tamales. It's the best thing I've eaten since I've been in Mexico, but like I mentioned...

I live here.

This is a complete rip off!!

The cheese guy, for Jalapeño asked, $25 usd or 500 pesos for a medium block of cheese. Seriously!!!! This isn’t California!!

The fruit person sold us a raspberries, also a rip off, and get this we took them home put them in the refrigerator and by Tuesday morning they were already rotten with mold.

This is my last visit to this market!!!

Don’t go here, unless you want to pay outrageously tourist prices and really don’t care how...
