Itâs a nice market on Sundays at this marina. A lot of people, mostly tourists, come here to shop and eat. Some of the vendors are unreasonably expensive, for example, for one small hand made hair bow, a vendor asked for $200 pesos! In any other Mexican context, this price would be insane.
Some food vendors were charging a lot as well. So shop around if you are on a budget. We eventually ended up eating at MIXIOTE MACHETES which offered amazing food at a reasonable price.
We are staying at Puerto Vallarta. So if you are staying in PV and want to go, it is quite far, approximately 45 min drive. We went there using Uber. If itâs too far, many of the same vendors would attend the Thursday Puerto Vallarta marina market as well.

This is a complete rip off!!
The cheese guy, for Jalapeño asked, $25 usd or 500 pesos for a medium block of cheese. Seriously!!!! This isnât California!!
The fruit person sold us a raspberries, also a rip off, and get this we took them home put them in the refrigerator and by Tuesday morning they were already rotten with mold.
This is my last visit to this market!!!
