YHI SPA — Local services in Playa del Carmen

Let me just say this is probably the highlight of the resort - the 1 hour daily of hydrotheropy. We were let down with much of the resort after many years of seeing it go down hill - especially after Meli took over. I wast impressed with the SPA pricing and would recommend you to look around the area for much cheaper massage pricing than the resort. We went to 5th street and found massaged for $30 each and they were very good. Yes of course they were not in a lux room but the quality of what you get is probably just as good for the price of $259 for 2 - RIDICOULOUS! I get my massages at home for under $60 for deep tissue so they cant tell me this is a good deal - ITS RESORT RIP OFF. On the brightside the HYDRO area came with our package and included a cucumber 5 min head massage - I had to get 1 everyday and out of many who performed them let me tell you ILENE was the winner! She definitely is the best and what made me give this a 4 out of 5 star review. There is nothing else at this resort better than ILENE's touch......if she ever needs a job I will open a massage business and she would be the boss...

Andres was my massage therapist and he was Excellent! Andres was very knowledgeable experienced welcoming. I truly enjoyed my aromatherapy massage by Andres. If only I had an extra day stay and more time I would have requested Andres AGAIN. The facility and shower rooms and other Spa amenities were clean and staff members were all very professional...

Deep tissue felt like Swedish, not really deep. Was not told the hydrotherapy pools close early until after my massage was completed 6:15 pm and it was too late (even though spa closes at 7:30). Was told jacuzzi’s were available when I booked same day in the morning but when arriving to use them, they were both empty and being repaired....
