Mercado "La Cruz" — Local services in Querétaro

I was pleasantly surprised to find this market close to the Raizor Hotel. It is definitely an authentic Mexican experience. The people are friendly and engaging. The Mercado offers everything from fruits,vegetables, meat,clothing,housewares, delicious rotisserie chicken, freshly made coffee, and sandwiches. The highlight was the taco stand. It has been there since 1978. Everything they made was awesome and reasonable in price. My only complaint would be that I didn't take any photos to share the experience. I would suggest also visiting this area in the evening when the market is closed. There are various food trucks and stalls that set up with their authentic Mexican dishes. 👌 From tortas to tacos, Mexican street food is worth the experience. Happy belly...

It's a local market in Queretaro where you can buy anything for home needs such as vegetables, meat, fish, chicken, baking items, plates and utilities for food, electric items, toys, paper items, sausage, sauce, etc. There is shop bamed Molino where you can buy nuts, Chilli powder, rice powder, maida powder, Turmeric, Garam masala, etc at a cheap cost. The best part is that most if the items are available at a reasonable price. The parking space is limited and hence it us advised to reach there earlier in case you're in a hurry to leave back. I live close by, so I'm at La Cruz several times a week. The market and surrounding stores fulfill a large percentage of food needs, including more obscure items. Plenty of raw meat and fish to be had, along with shoe supplies, cookware, fresh fruits and veggies, and eat-now cut fruits and fruit drinks. Also, an abundance of restaurants, esp in the evenings. I've have a few problems with vendors being rude, overpricing, or trying to cheat me out of change, but that is the exception, not the rule.
