Gran Plaza Mazatlán — Local services in Sinaloa

Not a fan of the new ‘’pay to park’’ at Gran Plaza Mall (or Galleria’s)! Typically, a shopper goes to a mall to spend money on a product or several. The very least, now that we must pay to use their huge parking lot while spending our money inside, our parking should be validated by providing our receipt from a store we purchased from! For example, like Tres Isla Mall does. Before leaving the premises, one can go to the kiosk, scan their store receipt with the parking receipt and leave. No charge! It makes much more sense to have each store operating in the mall to absorb a small percentage of the ‘’parking fee.’’ After not having a parking fee at Gran Plaza mall for the 12 years I’ve lived here F/T, what...

There are two malls in Mazatlan. This one and the much nicer Galleria just a bit farther north. I’ve been to Gran Plaza 3 times and I still find it difficult to find my way around.

It’s quite outdated but I believe the real reason it lacks life is the layout. It’s like a maze inside, like they kept adding wings in whatever space they had.

At a minimum I would name the “streets” inside the mall. Or, tear most or all of it down and start over. Maybe make it 2 or 3 floors tall and easier...

One of the biggest Malls around Mazatlan with a huge Game Plaza, Cinema, Casino, Restaurants, Food Court and varies stores to shop. Has one of the biggest Starbucks that I've ever seen.
