》The Tolantongo grottos are a set of caves and grottos located in the municipality of Cardonal, in the state of Hidalgo, Mexico. It has a main cave in which water flows towards the Tolantongo river, and there is also a smaller tunnel, approximately 15 meters long.

The resort is made up of three hotel complexes and heated pools near the bottom of a steep box canyon that has walls as much as 500 meters high.

Its main attraction are two grottos at the canyon’s closed end, out of which flows a small volcanically-heated river which follows the canyon floor. The large grotto chamber is about half the size of a tennis court with a ceiling of up to ten metres.

Above the grotto is a “tunnel”, a small cavern 15 metres deep in which warm water showers those who venture inside. Around these two openings, warm waterfalls flow down the steep canyon walls. Here visitors can practice hiking, rappelling and spelunking.

El lugar es bonito y tiene muy bonitos paisajes dignos de una postal, el agua era buena se sentia tibia y las pocitas son el lugar perfecto para relajarse, sin embargo sus puntos negativos son sus costos altos tanto en la entrada, la comida y el movimiento dentro del lugar, la atención del personal era mediana, pero el punto mayormente negativo es la sanidad en los alimentos tan luego se consumió algo de las fondas del lugar y empezó un fuerte malestar estomacal, la atención del servicio medico fue buena pero esta cuestion te hace pensar si el mismo personal esta capacitado en cuestiones de sanidad eh higiene, debo recordar que las aguas termales no son tratadas como las albercas convencionales y no se ven certificados o recomendaciones sobre algunos tipos de amebas que existen en esas aguas para tener Precauciones con los niños y adultos mayores como ejemplo la acanthamoeba o la Naegleria Fowleri esta ultima es peligrosa ya que se le conoce como la ameba comecerebros es muy mortal, salvo estos puntos el lugar es bueno solo entre semana o en...
