AH Lambertus Zijlplein — Local services in Amsterdam

In general AH is not my prefrerred choice. EVERYTHING is packaged, sometimes even double packaged in plastic, that includes even products like bananas, aubergines, bell peppers, something that definitely does not need plastic over it. The same with bread, only plastic options available. Frozen section as well, they could follow the example of Lidl and pack their frozen produce in cardboard. The quality is ok, but really...

This isn’t an Albert Heijn; it’s a bicycle parking spot. No matter what day you go there, you’re always going to find fat bikes parked inside and no one seems to bother doing anything about it.

This is the worse AH in Amsterdam, if not the Netherlands. Appalling customer service, arrogant and bullying. The place is uninviting and customers get zero help with their requests / needs.
