DE SMULHOEK GEUZEN AMSTERDAM — Restaurant in Amsterdam

I ordered through deliveroo, the food never came and I tried calling the place 5 times. No answer each time. They lied and said they delivered my food but it was not the case. deliveroos response:

"I have spoken to the restaurant 'De Smulhoek ' regarding your order #XXX that you placed on the Xth of march 2022. The restaurant state that they went to the given address and hey had delivered the order to you. For this reason we cannot refund for this."

No wonder they have a 3 out of 5 on deliveroo, terrible service, avoid this place if you do not want...

LISTEN UP EVERYONE. As a local, I recommend this place if you are craving for some fries at night with a hamburger or something else like that. I don't recommend ordering or dining in. Just go in there, order some fries with a snack of your choice and go home to eat it. I'm pretty sure the pizza's and everything else they offer aren't the greatest but the fries...

Ordered some late night pizza at 2 am and came after 1 hour and a half cold and disgusting. Worst pizza ever. Pepperoni is not pepperoni, you get really small triangles of turkish sausage which is not pepperoni:). Also, they did not respond to calls. I would avoid this. You’re better off eating noodle...
