Just returned from a fantastic trip in Aruba where Jim cooked for our group of 12 adults. What can we say but WOW! It was fantastic from start to finish. Another local chef had put us in touch and from the first contact Jim was great and so easy to work with. He was friendly, enthusiastic and professional, asking our wishes for the meal, any dietary restrictions as well as price point. Jim suggested the four course mystery menu which we went with. The menu was tailored specific to our group - we were ultimately served a tuna poke appetizer with seaweed salad (so fresh and incredible), a kimchi potato soup served with a Korean bbq lamb chop (amazing and so different and flavorful!, everyone LOVED this dish), a perfectly cooked beef tenderloin and shrimp served surf and turf style with a delicious balsamic truffle sauce (outstanding!) followed by an indulgent passionfruit duo dessert. Unbelievable from start to finish! Our entire group was so impressed with each course. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and used familiar ingredients in unique ways. Jim also saved the day by bringing 2 bistro tables for us to dine on after we realized our rental didn’t not have seating that would work for our group of 12. The best meal we had all week! Read moreWHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE AND FANTASTIC MEAL CHEF JIM PREPARED! This was our second time we used a Private Chef while visiting Aruba. We thought our first Private Chef was really good, but Chef Jim and his meal were incredible. It was by far the best meal we had in Aruba. Chef Jim accommodates specific requests, likes, dislikes, and of course any allergies. We opted for a four course meal selected by Chef Jim and were totally surprised when he served it. We started with an amazing pork belly appetizer. That was followed up with a lobster bisque poured over scallops and other goodies - just amazing and perhaps our favorite dish, but they were all so wonderful. Next was surf and turf - a mix of vegetables, delicious homemade sauces, melt in your mouth beef, and topped with a monster shrimp. Finally came dessert - an explosion of colors, textures, and scrumptious flavors. The presentation of each course was stunning and only surpassed by the food itself!
Chef Jim was easy to contact, got back to you quickly, flexible with setting the time of the event, fun to talk with, and most importantly, a sensational Chef. Next time we are in Aruba, we definitely plan on using him again. I highly highly...

The appetizer of razor clams was delicious, followed by a flavorful duck breast salad topped with homemade kimchee. The main course — Mahi Mahi topped with jumbo shrimp — was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Dessert was a rich chocolate cake with ice cream that everyone loved!
