Fair yet great meal. Never had Surinamese/indo food. Recommended by dePalms ITV tour guide, little hidden hole in the wall, go in and u find a diamond. Server was polite down to earth chill yet attentive, I believe we ordered the last two samosa for the day, glad we did they were stuffed with perfection, great blend of meat seasonings and spices yet not salty just flavorful. We ordered the 41, roti and chicken shrimp noodles. Food is great, some of best of food genre, the rices were good the chicken was fall off the bone, the noodles had. Great flavor, u get a plate with all types of food, u can start anywhere on your plate because it’s all so good, and all blends together. Never really had this kind of flavor before but I like it. Definitely gel. It was priced fair unlike like lot of hotels area foods. Tell by lots of locals coming in and getting takeout that this is a good spot. Definately this place is on my 2nd tour of Aruba food musts for me. Excellent service, friendly atmosphere,...
Read moreAs a tourist and self-proclaimed foodie, I cannot recommend Indo Surinamese and Indonesian restaurant enough. The flavors of the dishes here are truly unmatched, and you can tell that the ingredients are incredibly fresh.
The meat dishes are seasoned to absolute perfection, and you can taste the care and attention put into each dish. The stewed chicken is not just soft, but it's also bursting with flavor. You can tell that it's been lovingly flavored and marinated, rather than simply softened. And the peanut sauce? It's hand-made upon ordering, which makes all the difference in the world.
If you're in the area, it would be a great disservice to pass this place up. The flavors, the freshness of the ingredients, and the care put into each dish truly make this restaurant stand out. I can't wait to come back and try more of their...
Read moreFood: This is a small, family-owned establishment serving suramese and Indonesian cuisine. The family is multilingual, including English. We ordered a noodle and fried rice combination with chicken that came with some delicious peanut sauce. The portion was huge and kid friendly. The noodles and fried rice are very similar to Chinese lo mein and brown fried rice. We also ordered some goat curry, which was the star of the meal, and some soato (soup with shredded chicken and vermicelli noodles).
The restaurant happily accepted credit cards. We used a visa, but was charged an additional $5USD as a credit card fee.
Parking: There was plenty of parking in front of the restaurant, but there are no clear markings. Just park and leave...
