Maddey's Roosendaal lijkt op het eerste gezicht een gezellige soort 'ijslunchroom' met koffie, milkshakes en natuurlijk schepijs. Maar zoals het gezegde gaat: schijn bedriegt. De medewerkster leek er niet meer zo veel zin in te hebben. Mij groeten was blijkbaar te veel gevraagd van haar. Ook tijdens het ijs scheppen spatte de oninteresse ervan af. Heel veel ijshoorntjes waren kapot gegaan en ze moest nieuwe pakken (verder niet haar schuld maar wel vervelend). Het ijs zelf smaakte goed, maar vooralsnog vond ik het niet de prijs waard. Het was mij iets te duur.

Hoewel ik er niet met een negatief gevoel ben weggegaan, ben ik ervan overtuigd dat er betere ijsshops zijn...
