If you're looking to be so at ease at your wedding that you could take a mid-wedding nap, then Samantha is perfect for you!

We were blessed to have Samantha as our wedding-coordinator and her team as our bar staff at Nocton Woolshed on the 22nd of November 2024. She came highly recommended by our venue host.

From our first video chat, I could tell that she knew what she was doing. She is very friendly and it was easy to build rapport with her, especially given that FH and I are socially awkward.

She was well-organised with correspondence and administration. She is quick to provide tips and suggestions throughout every step of the process. This was extremely helpful seeing as both FH and I were first (and hopefully last) timers. She was in good contact with our other vendors and was quick to offer further assistance (ie. picking up ice so it was one less job for us to worry about).

FH and I ended up hiring not only Samantha, but also three additional staff, including a bar manager, to manage our DIY open bar. All of her team were very friendly and professional - they kept our guests well taken care of throughout the night. We did not see queues at the bar and had nothing but smiles and offer to cater to us.

On the day, Samantha had called me with one minor question about our wedding arch decoration, only because she knew how important ATD was to me. She had everything at the venue under control, so that hubby and I could just show up and enjoy the day.

I could tell that Samantha had done an amazing job, because our guests hadn't even noticed her as she worked away in the background. She worked very seamlessly - so seamless in fact, that hubby and I felt so comfortable with her taking the reins, that we ditched part of the dinner service to take an unplanned mid-wedding nap. As introverts, we both felt the need to recharge the ol' social battery before we carried on with the reception. 10/10 recommend a mid-weeding nap, but we could never have done this if we were not confident that Samantha had our guests and vendors well taken care of.

In the lead-up to the day, she was a fantastic sounding board — offering advice, helping source quotes, and keeping us on track. Having both the ceremony and reception at home added a few extra moving parts, but Samantha was right there, helping us shape our vision and bring it to life.

On the day itself, she was incredible. Somehow, she was everywhere without ever being in the way. From laying out the catering to keeping on top of empties, refilling the fridge, and ensuring the nibbles stayed fresh — she handled it all. She quietly kept things running smoothly, pottering away in the kitchen and tidying up as she went, meaning there was little chaos to deal with at the end of the night.

Incredible experience with the team at Weddings by Samantha who were fantastic the whole way through. We had done most of the planning ourselves, so only got the On the Day package. Despite this, we found they were immensely helpful with the final stages of planning. Samantha helped us finalise our runsheet for the day, and problem-solved with us any issues as they arose. We had Olivia with us for the day of the wedding. She coordinated with all of our vendors to ensure everything worked smoothly and did all the little odd jobs to make sure there was no stress on us at all. Olivia was calm and confident, while keeping busy doing everything from bringing us drinks, cutting the cake, timing all of our music and packing a canapes picnic for us. Having Olivia there gave us confidence that everything was under control the whole night, giving us the freedom to really relax and enjoy the day.
