Honestly never felt so humiliated in my life. I purchased some incense from Pocket Save next door, and my partner jumped into Kosco to grab a few things. I had the incense in clear view in my bag and was waiting in line with him. While he was paying, I went to walk outside as it was getting a bit crowded and the lady behind the counter proceeded to screech at me infront of a huge line of people while serving him about the incense sticking out of my bag. I explained that I had purchased it from the shop next door, but she just gave me the most disgusting and belittling look. I was happy to prove I had paid but honestly at that point I just wanted to curl into a ball I was so embarrassed. My first time in an Asian supermarket, was a little overwhelming because of how vast the selection is, Chinese, Indian, Japanese, etc.. Had a little trouble finding exactly what I needed but was solved easily with the amazingly helpful staff. The prices are unbelievable, 99c for large bags of spices compared to the $2+ for a tiny box of Greggs or the like from Pac N Save.
