I absolutely love Kaiwaka Cheese Shop! This place is a cheese lover's paradise with an incredible variety of delicious cheeses from Dutch origins. Not only do they offer an extensive selection of cheeses, but they also have an amazing array of other european delticatess and diverse groceries. The customer service here is top-notch; they're always friendly and willing to help. What I truly appreciate is their willingness to let you taste the cheese before purchasing and the immense variety they offer. Highly recommend for cheese enthusiasts and anyone looking for quality products and excellent service!"✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️ Maria Auckland

Incredible find! We have been freedom camping and really getting into our cheese plates. One of our crew is cheese obsessed so finding this cheese shop by accident made it even sweeter. Great variety- international, NZ and Dutch cheeses. There is cheese tasting so you can sample what you want before you purchase. We may have gone a little over board- we left with more than 5 cheeses! Also some superb local cheese board extras- figs, pastes, lavosh, dips, nuts and chocolate. Hidden gem- can highly recommend a stop!

Excellent cheese shop! Everytime we go to Auckland we stop here to buy all our favorite cheeses. The woman who owns/runs this shop is very knowledgeable about cheese. She's very professional and always let's you try any cheese that you'd like. They carry many beautiful cheeses, some of which I've never heard of or tried. This is why it's so great that she gives you samples. This way you don't buy a whole thing of cheese that you take home, try it, and dislike it! There's nothing worse than buying any food getting it home and end up not eating it. I hate waste like that. So I really appreciate this cheese store. They carry a very old Gouda that is to die for! It is really amazing with nutty notes and a wonderful constancy. We usually end up buying a huge amount of cheese at one time because we only go to Auckland once a month. So we're buying enough to last us a month. They have just opened a beautiful Cafe, not sure if it's owned by the cheese shop people, right next door. This is a great place to grab a tea, coffee and a snack before getting back on the road. Next time you're in the area, or if you're lucky enough to live close by, stop at Kaiwaka cheese shop and try some amazing cheeses. You will be...

had a 66% success rate here, 1st and 3rd time visiting were pleasant with a wide array of cheesy choices and kind and patient staff! 2nd time I went ruined my entire vacation. Most rude person on the planet rushing me around not treating me with basic human respect just because I don't come from Auckland and have a wallet deeper than the grand canyon looking to stock up on exotic Dutch goat cheese for the next mass extinction event, seriously could not enjoy life much after that point, I am now heavily medicated, finally mustered the courage a year later and had the most wonderful experience, star rating purely based on most recent visit, else I would find a way to make a review so negative that Gordon Ramsay would look like an overweight American kid with a propeller hat and comically large lollipop whistling whimsical tunes on a sunny day. Hope that woman never sees the light of day again, love the stickers placed on the top of wrapped cheese and great vegetarian options, a crucial pitstop for any up north journey and an international...

Terrible service. Very disappointing as we were looking forward to checking out their range of special cheeses and buying for friends also. Ladies behind the counter were rude and sarcastic or didn't seem to know their products. When asked what was the cheese type used as a base for a red pesto (important given we were considering for pregnancy) we were told "tomato" and when asked which animal a particular cheese came from the answer given was "chickens", when we were asking perhaps cow vs sheep vs goat. They gave one sample and we were told to share it amongst 3 of us. Never been this disappointed with the service of a place more. We were going to be repeat customers but we definitely...
