This cafe looked beautiful inside and out, hats off to the owner for going out of their way to create such a beautiful cafe. However with such a beautiful cafe I wish the service, food and experience could’ve matched it.

We walked into the cafe, dirty dishes and flies everywhere. There was zero acknowledgment from staff when we entered. I went to order from the counter, there was four young women behind the counter gossiping along and laughing, one finally decided to take my order. She still didn’t acknowledge nor welcome me properly, she basically took my order and went back to the group of girls and continued chatting and gossiping along as if I didn’t exist. Not to mention they all had this smug face and attitude like they did not want to be there on a Saturday at 11.30am

All cubicles were messy and had dirty dishes and flies EVERYWHERE. Our coffees arrived first which was decent. Food arrived 25 mins later. I had ordered a French toast, hash sticks and fruit toast.

The French toast had an off smell from the get go. It looked okay, with the frozen berries decorated. I took my first bite and I don’t think my body has ever wanted to reject bread before, but my god that French toast made me sick. The French toast was undercooked and it seems like they used eggs that had gone off, it tasted terrible.

The hash sticks were borderline over cooked, they were hard as a rock. They deep fried the has browns in old oil. It had the old oil greasy smell and the taste was so foul and probably off as well. The fruit toast was burnt and hard as a rock.

For such a beautiful cafe, the food was a real let down and not mention the service was pathetic. Its unfortunate to give 1 star because the cafe was beautiful but I wouldn’t give any stars for the food and experience we had. I 100% will not recommend.

To anyone visiting this cafe your probably better off going to the four square that’s a few blocks down. It’ll save your wallet and your health a whole lot of trauma. No doubt you’ll probably get better service and 100% fresher...

Racist ugly place! Shame on you to discriminate in front of child! Stop replying my comment from the owner as I’m not asking for your judgement or justification. Your reply exposed your arrogant attitude! No wonder your staff outrageously ignored us and the vibe of the cafe was awkward. It is not about how we felt it is how we were treated. I’m sharing my experience to remind any potential vulnerable customers in future.

Negative star if I could. Awful and rude service. Not worth dropping by at all. Me, my husband and my daughter waited at the counter for 10 minutes for order but the coffee making staff and the waitresses kept ignoring us with poke face. My husband took the initiative to greet one waitress and she walked away with no reaction. I asked another waitress if we could order loudly but she walked away on my nose and directly talked to another white couple table. When I challenged her she grinned sarcastically and said she didn’t hear me. There was another staff came out saying they were busy. Busy with two tables? No excuses for your intentional rude attitude! Your behavior exposed your pathetically serious lack of education!

The owner’s reply cannot be justified as how come three of your staff kept ignoring us if you are “courteous and accommodating”? We waited right in front of the coffee making staff and he treated us like we didn’t exist. Please note that my husband greeted one staff and she had a stone face, I talked to another staff loudly and clearly “can we please order now?”and she walked passed me and directly talked to another table leaving us standing in front of the counter, how come she “genuinely” didn’t hear me? I was not murmuring. Several incidents in such a short period of time. Again no excuses for your intentional micro aggression to leave customers in an awkward and uncomfortable position. She might not be grinning at you (the owner) doesn’t mean she can’t be sarcastic to others. Refrain to come to such rubbish place to avoid...

Eutopia: A Tourist Trap Masquerading as Paradise

If you're looking for an authentic local experience, steer clear of Eutopia. overhyped tourist trap, copying Gaudi’s designs, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but lacking the quality and charm, and certainly not original.

Our visit was an exercise in frustration from start to finish. Despite ordering pre-made pastries, we were left waiting for over 20 minutes. When we finally managed to find a table, it was littered with dirty dishes from previous patrons. The staff seemed completely overwhelmed and disorganized, wandering aimlessly with plates of food, unsure of where to deliver them or who had ordered what.

The place is severely understaffed. The few employees present were rushing around frantically, trying to manage an impossible workload. This understaffing contributes significantly to the poor service and overall chaotic atmosphere.

The bathrooms were a horror show - mud and water covered the floors, and there was evidence that some patrons had missed the mark entirely. Needless to say, I chose to hold it. The lack of staff likely explains why no one had gotten around to cleaning this mess.

The entire experience felt purposeless, as if the owners were more interested in cashing in on the tourist crowd than providing a quality dining experience. Save your...

Eutopia lives up to its name. It is a 'Must Visit' whenever you travel through Kaiwaka. Feast your eyes on the incredible decor, in fact, take the time to explore the building, inside and out, and you will find treasures at every turn. Don't forget to look up at the roof and down at the floors and check out the toilets. The Artistry continues with the food. Tasty and beautifully presented while still being value for money. The menu has a good balance of large and small items, some vegetarian/vegan and optional extras so that you can customize your meal. The drinks menu also offers many options. The staff also seem to be enjoying their environment and were very welcoming, knowledgeable and efficient. We left feeling wonderfully fortified in body and soul. Can't wait to take our friends and family.

What a mesmerizing and unique coffee stop for us! Super glad we stopped (albeit briefly) this time as we've driven past way too many times! I've only marked 3 stars for food as didn't actually eat, but the takeaway coffee was great. But cabinet food did look great too (didn't check menu etc but will next time!). Service was lovely, very smiley and welcoming despite being obviously very busy. Such a quirky concept, well executed. Love the private wee nooks that are no doubt highly sought after by visitors! Even the loos looked enticing haha! Large outdoor space available if you were in a larger group and appeared to be plenty of parking available too. Definitely worth the stop, we will be back! I took a few pics but was eager to respect diners privacy too!
