No Biggie Food — Local services in North Island

Sarah and Jesse and team of No Biggie catered our son's wedding in February 2024 at Whangapoua on the Coromandel. From beginning to end, they were perfect! The food was absolutely superb in every way. We were so thrilled with it, ingredients top quality and so fresh, incredible tastes, imaginative, beautifully presented. Vegans, vegetarians - no problem! We couldn’t not have been more delighted, nor asked for more!! Chef Jesse is an absolute star, who downplays his talent and is accommodating of all suggestions and requests, and makes it all so easy (no biggie). They turn up with all the equipment and set themselves up and just get on with it! Very pleasant people, who felt like friends by the end fo the wedding! The wedding had a lot of overseas guests, whom we were anxious to impress with our local cuisine and with our bit of paradise, and Jesse and his team totally filled the bill on the former, and nature and the weather did the latter. People were especially complimentary about the food afterwards!! It was a big part of the day, from the oyster bar at the ceremony, to the canapes at cocktail hour, to the main meal and the afrogatos and coffee at the end! We are so pleased we went with No Biggie, but make sure you contact them really early in your planning as we had to beat out others to book them...

Delicious, local & memorable – I read this for the first time on the No Biggie website the other day and that is 10000% true! You know when you have those memorable dining out/food experiences where you just want to go back and eat there again and again.. yeah, well I don’t think you necessarily expect that from your wedding food but that is exactly what we got with No Biggie! Our biggest fear before our wedding day was that we were going to miss out on eating the delicious food through the menu we had created with the No Biggie team so we both made it a priority to ensure that didn’t happen – possibly one of the best decisions we made! The No Biggie team were so lovely, easy going and flexible to deal with throughout the planning process, even coming out to check out how everything would run on the day, We knew instantly we were in the most capable hands! We also decided to hire our bar staff through No Biggie which I’m so happy we did, they brought great energy and fun to the evening. The No Biggie team basically ran the show throughout the evening – amazing! I was not surprised when most of our guests talked about the food and drink being a highlight of the wedding. Delicious – yes yes yes!! Can I eat it all again please?! Local - food & people – both are just magic and Memorable, absolutely!...

Wanted to say a massive thank you to No Biggie for their amazing mahi at our Coromandel wedding. Exceptional doesn’t even begin to cover it - No Biggie added to the energy and vibe with their amazing people. We loved having the crew there, we just wish they could have joined the party!

And. The. Food. It was 100 million out of 10. We loved every bite (my mouth is literally watering as I type this) and guests have not stopped talking about how incredible it was. We’ve even had people say to us that it’s been the best food they have ever had - not just at a wedding - like, the best food they have EVER had.

How they are able to ship in so slickly and easily and create the most amazing dishes so quickly in a remote setting is nothing short of astonishing. Sarah and the team were a huge part of contributing to making the 21st January 2023 our favourite day ever.
