Classic Flyers NZ is an absolute gem for the entire family! We had an amazing day exploring the fascinating collection of airplanes and engaging in a variety of activities. The kids were thrilled with the hands-on exhibits and interactive displays, and the fire truck ride was a definite highlight—completely amazing! The cherry on top was the incredible water blast welcome from the Tauranga Airport's $2,000,000 Fire Truck, which was an unforgettable experience.

They sent us the menu a few days before, which included two supposedly vegan options (“plant based burger” and “sweetcorn fritters” were marked as VG). When I actually went down to order food I realised that neither of them were (the burger had cheese and aioli, the fritters contained eggs). Also, no alternative was offered to me by the staff when I asked “I am vegan, what can I have?”. Friendly feedback: if you work in a restaurant/cafe you should know your ingredients. I dropped a ⭐️ for not displaying enough info on Jean Batten. An amazingly courageous woman and a huge inspiration - in the museum she was dedicated an itsy bitsy A4 and tucked away in a corner. I’m sorry but that’s not good enough considering your museum is located on Jean Batten Drive! There’s so much more on her life and my teenage daughter and myself would like to have seen her given as much credit as all the men in the museum!
