Op's Kitchen — Local services in North Island

Today I was more than dissatisfied with the service I received. My two toddlers only ever ask for Ops kitchen when we head to the Sunday market because they love the dumplings. They selected what they wanted, paid for it themselves and waited patiently for their orders. They did grab chopsticks each for themselves (yes they know how to use them) and I had asked that they grab me a pair also. When doing so they were scolded which caught me off guard so I approached the tent to collect our food and was then told myself they shouldn’t be grabbing them to which i replied they are paying customers and need them to eat just like any other customer. As my youngest was dancing (not touching anything but the table) the chef continued to give her a glowering look. Now I understand we have our bad days and this is the first time I’ve ever received this type of treatment from Ops kitchen (whom I’ve been a loyal customer to for many years) but this type of aggression towards customers especially young children is not ok. If the negative exchange was kept to only myself I would have looked passed it but because you directed your negative energy towards my children I cannot which is why I’ve written this formal review / complaint. Delicious, fresh, yummy kai and friendly staff. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was that I couldn't get a receipt easily from their system.
