The service was fast and friendly. I appreciate being able to easily order online. Those are all the positive comments I can make.

We bought a pair of hot dogs, a pair of battered hoki, a scoop of chips, and half a dozen won tons.

The hot dogs were tasty, but they weren't saveloys, as you'd expect from a hot dog. They were regular sausages.

The hoki has been away from water for several days, and it showed. The front of the building advertises "fresh fish". We didn't receive it. Maybe the Tarakihi is fresher.

The chips were great! However we paid $5.60 for what looked to me like a half scoop. Seriously overpriced.

The wontons were seriously overcooked and entirely too salty. The wrap was indedible, the meat barely better. My wife and I can't agree if it was beef or pork.

I have a horrible aftertaste in my mouth following this meal, and most of it went uneaten

I do not recommend...

3 times now ive had rotten green fish from this shop. I threatened to take them to the food safety authority. This got some action in the form of a refund and a $50 credit. i used the credit and never went back. as well as the fish the burgers made me throw up from meat that was not properly frozen.

I thought that after a spell away that things might have improved, but no. . he is on by himself and quite rude and arrogant. he is going to see an end to his business by christmas if he doesnt do something. i ordered $10 chips to go with dinner and got asked if that was all. i responded , yes thats all. when i paid he asked in a grumpy tone, cash or eftpos. then he adds 60c onto the purchase price.

Do yourself a favour and stay away from this...

First and last time I will be going here - wish I had read the recent reviews... DO NOT GO HERE.... Don't waste your money like us...... food ended up in the bin - totally inedible

Bought the $23 fish and chips pack, and I was very disappointed. The fish were so small and undercooked - way more batter than fish, it was basically like searching for the fish part. The Potato fritters were very small, all batter and greasy. The sausages were dry, and the chips were cold, soggy, and disgusting. Overall, for the quantity and quality of the food, it was definitely not worth $23, will not be going back or...
