Our family holiday of 8 adults and 2 children finally made it out of our group chat and into the planning stages. My daughter found some properties online in Rotorua that would accommodate us all and we chose 'The Willows'. We arrived after a long day of travel. Our host Kerry met us at the property to show us around and explain everything. I'm glad the kids were listening because I couldn't take my eyes off the stunning spring garden and the even more stunning views over the lake! This place is magical! We struck gold with our accommodation! Everything was provided, from the well appointed kitchen with stunning views to cook family meals, to the free kayaks just waiting for a paddle on the lake. Oh and the jacuzzi with a view! The beds were super comfy and there was ample room to get together or escape for some quiet time. The Willows is also very central to all the attractions that Rotorua has to offer. We had the most amazing time and my family and I were sad to leave. This was our first time there but it certainly won't be our last at this stunning home away from home. Thank you Kerry for sharing your little bit of paradise with us.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Willows. Our Hosts were amazing and the location is very close to many amenities. A lot of the activites that my family and I were doing in Rotorua was also close to the house. The Willows is also Dog friendly, so our family dog was able to come on holiday with us. Beds are very comfortable, so many towels to use, kayaks, life jackets, we were able to use the washing machine and dryer, had a lot of cleaning products to use and the house overall was very clean. There are so many movies and games for the kids. A spa to relax which was really my favourite part of our trip haha and the view is to die for, our kids and dog loved swimming in the lake, wifi is free and as you are cooking in the kitchen, there are sliding windows above the kitchen bench where you can oversee the lake and also get a nice breeze from the wind. We loved our stay and hospitality shown by our host, they are very nice and easy to get along people. Would recommend staying at The Willows 100%, I know for sure my Family and I will book to stay here again.

The best accommodation I have ever found, and we got to take our dog too! This place I absolutely rate 10/10. The host Kerry is super friendly and responsive, he has quite literally thought of everything you may need for your holiday! With different sized kayaks to suit your fit, 2 fireplaces, not 1! But 2! An incredible spa that is surrounded by fairy lights over looking the lake, the privacy of the whole place, the different places to sit by the lake, the shower is awesome, the beds are comfy, the DVD selection is awesome! We unfortunately had terrible weather but loved every minute of our stay, we can't wait to come back again in the summer. You will not regret renting this place out! You won't find better :) I promise you that! Thanks Kerry!

Such a wonderful 6 night stay at the Willows. The view on this property is absolutely stunning not to mention the gardens with roses and Zinnias in full bloom. Many species of wildlife spend their days on the lake and we were lucky enough to get a closeup view as we paddled our kayaks around the area. The home is spacious, comfortable and well stocked with Towels, soaps, paper towels, and toilet paper. We had a couple of cooler nights and it was wonderful to snuggle up in bed with mattress warmers on both sides. A garden just outside the kitchen provided a quiet sunny area in the morning to have a tea or coffee and hear the welcoming calls of the resident Tui. We enjoyed a few movies in Kerry’s media room with his vast assortment of every movie you could think of! It was really quite impressive. Our host Kerry provided detailed information to make sure our stay ran smoothly and he was always available immediately if we had a question. We didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub as our days were so busy but it looked very inviting with magical fairy lights strung through the trees around it. We highly recommend this property and wish we could have stayed longer. Next...
