We had limited time here, but will be back for a more extensive visit, this place has easy access for mobility impaired visitors. Highly recommended.

Great place to visit for free, huge collection of all sorts of model ships, all very interesting and well cared for. Lots of information available and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We had limited time here, but will be back for a more extensive visit, this place has easy access for mobility impaired visitors. Highly recommended.

This has to be the best museum experience I have ever had. The curator has so much information and has lived in Port Chalmers for most of his life and can give first hand experiences around all the items in the museum. It was facinating to hear his stories and wonderful that he was so prepared to share this. A wonderfully...

This was a cool free (do donate though) museum right by the Port. There is a ton of history here and the staff was extremely friendly. I sat there and chatted with the woman working for 30 min and she was very knowledgeable and great! I would certainly recommend anyone in the area to stop down and have a...
