Well, we did it today! It’s very hard! Going up AND coming down. It took us 2 hours climbing the thick steps up and 1 hour climbing down. Climing up had to be done slowly with many breaks. On the top, it’s not flat nor easy to walk arround to take pictures especially with the number of other people arround you. Climing down is a different kind of hard. Our legs trembling and I personlly was on the verge of tears just wanting to reach the road below😅. Now after about five hours at home, we started getting muscle cramps and we have to move slowly and carefully 😆. Does it worth it?! Depends on how well you take the hard challenge and how much you can be carefull as there are no rails on the stairs or on the top. For us, we had to experience it ourselves but would not recommend it enthusiastically and without expressing how hard it is. If you plan to climb up, you have to take a good amount of water and good...

We were there after 2 days of rain. Nice path with stones all way up. We did it with our dog (German pointer 30kg). Few other dogs were there as well. The hike is made by about 2000 steps. You can stop quite often. We did it in July so lots of tourists where there, but everyone was careful. If you have an aggressive dog, it is not possible because the path is narrow in the end so you cross other dog without being able to hide or else. Think about bringing a lot of water. There is just a tiny cascade at a about 300 steps where you can refill your bottles and after there is nothing. Think about your dog as well 🐶. If you are afraid of heights might be not the best. We saw someone stopping on about 3/4 of the way… Overall, It is really worth it, and you can just stay up there as long as you want there is plenty of space and you can...

It's certainly easier in the summer season, and one can bypass the peak via a trail so that the ascent and descent are from different sides, not just the stairs. In winter, it's much more difficult; one must primarily expect ice on the stairs. Without crampons, there's no point in attempting the ascent, as the descent will be much harder. I've seen many people who had to slide down on their bottoms. Ascending the stairs is challenging, requiring frequent rests, and in winter, the wind makes it unpleasant. Furthermore, few people choose to reach the summit in winter due to the strong winds. In summer, there's a lack of space at the summit due to the large number of tourists. However, I think it is worth trying to visit around April/May, when there is more sun and snow creates a nice contrast for the...

There is no parking at trail head. The view at top is one of the best scenic views. But I have to remind that there are no protections along the trail path and viewpoints. I was pretty scared the whole trip. The path is well maintained stone steps but each step is pretty big (>30cm)for small person.
