First of all: this location is absolutely fantastic - breathtaking views, a paradise for snorkelers, a rather interesting (by European standards) historical background. But: the path to the fortress can be a horror trip for people who are not free from giddiness:
There are no railings of any kind either on the approximately 35-minute walk from the jetty to the fortress or on the approximately 55-inch-wide Ùbridges to the fortress. It is regrettable that neither the organizers nor the regional administration/tourism authority take this into account.
