The best excursion Company in Murmansk. They are just too good! Totally and highly recommended for your excursions in Murmansk. The Manager madame Vera was in constant touch with me throughout and she made sure i get the best experience throughout my excursion. Also the staff members mike, sergey and ian/yan! Throughout my excursion they made sure i am comfortable and enjoying my excursion and especially Alexey!!! He is a Gem of a person, he is just so damn good and especially a very good human being, with such a joyful and friendly nature. The time i booked my excursion with NordTours i was in Moscow and from Moscow till i arrived at Murmansk the Manager madame Vera made sure i am comfortable and even checked up on me whether i got a taxi from the airport or not. And Alexey was with me throughout the excursion though there was a language barrier Alexey told me every little details about murmansk and its culture. Mike and ian/yan both were the camera men and they were so friendly and joyful as well. The time of Aurora borealis hunting we stopped to take pictures and the NordTours came up with the refreshments there and it was such a lovely thing from them. I had a great experience going on an Aurora Hunting Tour with Nortours. During my stay in Murmansk, the weather forecast was not good, and it was snowing most of the time. But they found a small window in which the solar activity was strong enough with the skies being clear.

We went to a couple of places outside the city that were dark. The second location beside the lake was magnificent with the reflection of the aurora on the lake.

Our guide, Aleksey, made sure everyone gets good photograph clicked of themselves with the Aurora. He even explained everything about the science behind the Northern Lights and gave me tips on how to adjust my camera to take photos of the Northern Lights.

I was the only non-Russian speaking person in the group of 8 people, so everything was translated to me in English. It was great to have Aleksey as a Skillful, Knowledgeable and...

Sergei is the man! I was lucky! He was able to help me arrange last minute tour (teriberka, aurora,and sami village), advise best dates (aurora), and maneuver around dates (due to my limited time and fixed best-date for aurora) so that I can do all the other tours as planned. He is very friendly and love to share interesting tidbits about the city (or anything you ask). He is also very responsive and always ensure I arrive to meeting location safely and enjoyed the tour. Highly recommended.

P.S.I also talk to another company at the same time as I talked to Sergei. But his approach is like a friend, while the other company is very 'business like'. Being solo traveller, I appreciate the warm welcome and friendly approach.
