I rarely leave negative reviews because I understand everyone’s working hard to make a living — but this experience was unacceptable.

Visited the & Other Stories branch at ION and had the most frustrating interaction I’ve ever encountered in a retail store. The cashier counter was unattended, so I politely approached the nearest staff member and asked, “Excuse me, could you help me with checkout?” She gave me a cold, blank stare — no response, no acknowledgment — and simply walked away toward the back shoe section without saying a single word.

I was left standing there confused and wondering what just happened. Eventually, another staff member stepped in and helped with the checkout.

I later confirmed with another employee that yes, the woman I approached — Ms. Illya, or whatever name she goes by — is indeed part of the team and not a customer I mistook for staff. If you’re having a bad day, fine. But leave that energy at home. Customers do not deserve to be treated with such blatant disregard and disrespect.

Store is nice, spacious & aesthetically pleasing. The sale range is large.
