I have been undergoing personal training with Zheng Jie for the past three months, and I am very happy with the progress I have made. I came into this journey with the goal of building functional strength, particularly because I have been dealing with knee pain since a group fitness exercise three years ago. My physiotherapist recommended focusing on muscle development, but I was quite mindful about my form, as I have had a few minor injuries and strains in the past.
It came to me that I should start proper strength training, and my ensuing research drew me to Zheng Jie, as there were many reviews that praised his focus on proper technique—he has since been living up to this expectation! His attention to detail has been invaluable, ensuring that every movement is executed safely and effectively. Thanks to his guidance, I have seen significant improvements in both my strength and overall functional movement. A recent hiking trip overseas was really a testament to this.
Beyond the technical aspects, Zheng Jie is a pleasure to work with. He is approachable, easy to communicate with, and always brings a positive energy to our sessions. It is clear he genuinely cares about his clients’ progress, and that makes all the difference.
The gym itself is a great environment to train in—spacious, well-equipped, and conveniently located in the Central area, making it easy to get in and get a solid workout done.

Read moreI’ve been going to Level’s group strength classes for close to 2 years. I started strength training to prepare for my hiking expedition to Everest Base Camp in 2022.
After adding strength to my exercise routine, not only I build strength and I can lift heavier, my running pace has reduced from 8min/km to 6min/km in six months.
Pros: flexibility of classes: they offer classes in the morning, during lunch, and evening time. Available on both weekdays and weekends. It’s easy to find a slot that can fit my schedule. small group classes: max 7 per class, each trainer gave the students ample amount of attention and guidance. suitable for both beginners and pros: I started with Structure to learn the basics. I slowly progressed to Skill, which is the immediate/advanced strength class. professional and encouraging trainers: Thanks Phil and Hadrian for kickstarting my strength journey, and giving me guidance to improve my strength and form. Thanks Zheng Jie, Farrah, and Louishia for constantly pushing me to expand out of my comfort zone. facilities: good. three shower rooms in Robinson and they’re renovating Telok Ayer branch. Looking forward to the new facilities in TA.
