DO NOT USE THIS SHOP FOR CONTRACTs/ REPLACEMENTS OR LONG TERM COMMITMENTS- it is a SHOP with poor knowledge and overpriced items. JUST A SHOP (exclusive retailer)- not a Singtel customer service centre. I can not believe a shop in such a great location can actually have such a level of unpleasant costumer service combine with incompetence and really lack of awareness. I was there yesterday and I was attended by a lady that was utterly rude when I was asking information about the possible options I may have for my husbands account as we have lost 1 of our phones and were looking to replace it. She said she was not going to entertain talking to me ... as I was not the account holder.. I was not asking for personal details nor asking for a phone I only needed it info so we could make and informed decision so when my husband came later was a matter of paying and going. he has very little time to hang around. I asked for another shop attendant who came and showed me a list of possible phones and prices. I explained that we were already in a contract for 2 years and that Singtel hotline had told us that we didnât need to pay for replacement as we were about to upgrade- He was overcharging us around 500! We believed him because it is a SINGTEL representative !! Therefore end up choosing a basic phone because we didnât want to sign for another 2 years and pay too much ! Then the bill came It was much less...he explained about a âpromotionâ sadly this was After the contract had been signed- I asked to him why the list of prices was different to our bill ..had I know this, I would have chosen a better phone -wrong info that led us to sign a contract of $78+ with a basic phone ! A phone is something we all use on daily basic and it is not a luxury but a necessity a tool for work/home/entertainment- I am sorry for the guy who was a bit more polite that the lady who first served us yet he was not knowledgeable of the packages and led us to sign a contract based on the wrong info. Also when I asked if it was easier to have it on my name - he asked me for $800 deposit as I am a dependent pass holder.. not sure this info is correct.    Read moreI recently purchased a Pixel Watch 3 LTE from the Google Store, which explicitly stated that Singtel is the only provider supporting number share in Singapore. This was further confirmed by the staff at Singtelâs flagship store at 313 Somerset a month ago. Based on this information, I visited this Singtel Exclusive Retailer, and the experience was beyond disappointing.
Appointment Delays: Despite booking an appointment, I was made to wait an additional 20 minutes, which already set a poor tone for the visit. Incompetence and Dismissiveness: The staff member I spoke to (photo attached) seemed completely uninformed. When I explained my query, he repeatedly said, "I donât know" and "Itâs not in the system," avoiding eye contact like a malfunctioning chatbot. Refusal to Assist: When I insisted the flagship store confirmed this and even pointed out that Singtel itself sells the Pixel Watch LTE, he brushed me off, suggesting I "talk to the guys at 313." This blatant refusal to assist came with a passive-aggressive tone and dismissive responses ("um," "um," "um"), wasting my time and patience.
This interaction cost me 1 hour and 20 minutes of commuting for absolutely nothing. The lack of knowledge, accountability, and customer service at this store is unacceptable. Singtel, if you value your brand, you should seriously evaluate the training and professionalism of your exclusive...
   Read moreI met Jeff service staff at this singtel branch and I must say he still eschews what singtel values are. He's help up detailed and patient and meets the expectations of myself with correct answers and possible recommendations and at times goes out of his way to share some knowledge which he feels may be helpful for my situation. He also reminded me of the promotions available so that I can optimise my current plans and get value from my new purchases. I used to visit the singtel HQ at Exeter Road before they moved. Their customer service executives were also well motivated and eager to help. If you get Jeff I can quite guarantee a pleasant and helpful experience for recontract! Look for Jeff the big friendly giant! Hever I heard he rotates around different branches like all their executives... It's my blessed...
