I've tried reaching out to Neked multiple times through email but have never received any response. It's really frustrating to be ignored as a customer. Yet, somehow, I keep getting promotional emails from them. If you're going to send marketing messages, the least you can do is respond when people try to contact you. Disappointing experience.
Hi NEKED Team,
Thank you for your response.
Iād like to clarify that any frustration or bluntness in my final email came only after multiple polite attempts to contact you went ignored, while I continued to receive unwanted marketing emails. If you choose to publicly respond to my Google review, I think the least you can do is present the full context rather than framing it selectively.
Itās disappointing that rather than acknowledging a breakdown in communication or taking responsibility, your message shifts blame and adopts an entitled tone. Respect is a two-way street, and that includes being responsive to customers trying to opt out in good faithābefore things escalate.
I hope youāll reflect on how this situation was handled and treat future concerns with a bit more transparency and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām really disappointed, the shop looks lovely. I arrived at 8, the shop was closed. I had a peep through the window and returned at 9 eagerly awaiting a good smoke.
My gripe is as follows: Membership fee of R50 pm is a complete scam. You canāt purchase any THC products without signing up to the monthly membership. Your bud is overpriced. R100 for a swazigold preroll!? Absolutely nuts. And I start there because this is the entry price range here folks. That is the starting point at Neked, ground zero. āPremium productsā - Swazi gold is bottom of the barrel outdoor jut. R220pg for golden teachers!? Get out of here.
Iām all for supporting small business but it is not necessary to rip the ringer. Drop the membership fee, people passing through Clarens or coming past for a weekend donāt want to join another social club that adds no value to the customer experience.
Disappointed, itās a matter of principle. Not good for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreShocking to say the least! Me and my fiancĆ© walked into Neked and when trying to buy their product they denied us access to get into their shop under my father in laws memebership, which is strange because last month 9th Feb we were here and purchased over R1000 worth of stock, and on numerous other occasions which is never a purchase below R1000. We understand procedures changing but it was the attitude in which the lady (whom I know owns the shop) walked over and advised her staff member to deny us access. Potentially big spending customers. The man behind the counter offered us to open our own account but after the awful reception we received from the lady in the front we actually would rather take our business elsewhere. Very disappointing. We spoke about Neked in such a high regard. Wonāt be...
