I was totally disgusted in this place, it was our first time visiting there and never again. Don’t get me started on the parking- or lack thereof. We had to park in Main Road about 10 cars down. As you enter, there are TONS of bees. We waited a while because there was only one person serving drinks and manning the entrance fees. Pizzas lay open on a table with a disgusting cloth over them trying the fend off the bees and flies- yuck! We walked through the sandy ‘playground’ and got hit by a tennis ball because the swing ball was broken and it came flying off the pole. We then stood in another queue from the bottom of the stairs to get skates. The place stank like sweaty feet or those orange cheese curl chips, couldn’t put my finger on it. We attended a party and had to sit on these awful bean bag things that didn’t look clean at all. There were bees everywhere. The skating rink is a disaster. You have a mixture of new skaters, pedestrians, amateur skaters and super fast excellent skaters all thrown into one. The learner ‘zimmer frames’ are R50 to rent but you cannot keep track of yours when you have a break because someone swoops in and takes it. You can’t control who takes it at all. Our trip there was put to a grinding holt when my daughter was taken out by some young children who skated straight through her and her zimmer frame and made her wipe out so hard that she begged me to just leave because she was so sore. Not a staff member in sight. Stay very clear of this place, it’s hell on earth. I wish there was a no star rating because I would rather give that!

PS, socks cost R150 if you’ve forgotten yours. Zimmer frames need to be bought at the front entrance desk when you arrive and then you get told by the lady handing out the skates how to unlock them and put the chain back. What a HUGE dissapointment! When we arrived there was no one to assist us, my husband went early to drop off my balloons just to get there and they never put my balloons at my table, it was just put in a corner. The place is so filthy / the floors i think havent been washed in weeks. Its disgusting! We then went to the ring side to skate- carrying the balloons, the waitress came after 20min of arrival to take our slush orders which was part of the package, NO cake was given as it says in the package either. This dry cold pop corn arrived and slushies took an hour to appear. No one telling us where to go or what to do to get skates. My husband had to change his skates 3 times as they are in horrible condition. The owner no where to be found and everything falling apart. It was my birthday party and the whole process of booking was terrible from the start, she could not answer phones nor a message on whatsapp. They just collecting money, no proper service or love for their business its just a money collecting game. Everything was a bad experience from the moment we got there. I was so embarrassed infront of all my friends with where I booked my special day! RollEgoli has the potential to be an absolutely wonderful place but unfortunately it is absolutely DISGUSTING! The seating area smelled disgusting, you couldn’t sit there without your nostrils being assaulted by the dirty carpet smell that for some reason smelled like old spilled drinks, vomit and sewage. It was horrendous. When you would touch the carpeted short wall that separates the seating are from the skating rink, your hand would smell of this horrible never washed carper smell. Then the skates were another story. I helped my nephew put on his skates to find that the tongue of the skate was wet, when I smelt my hand to smell what made it wet, it was SWEAT! SWEAT from (I’m assuming) the previous person who had this skates on. I gaged, it was revolting. Then they seem to store the pizza’s that have just been ordered by the walk way. Where any and everybody is walking by, sneezing, coughing, farting, the works right next to the pizzas. Why do I feel like I have to walk into your kitchen to get to where I need to go? Yoh, it was messy. Lastly, the staff was giving tired and irritated. And judging by the state of RollEgoli, it’s giving short staffed as well.
