Beachwood Course — Local services in KwaZulu-Natal

Overall a good course. The staff are very friendly and explain the courses logistics well. They recently had a fire a lost many of their carts, when I took my son to play our rented cart ran out of battery power. A quick call to the pro shop and we had a replacement within a few minutes. The greens need a little work but it did look like work was under way on a few of them to rectify issues. I would suggest not playing the day after heavy rains as the fairways can hold a lot of water and in some cases get completely waterlogged. The clubhouse restaurant seems to be a popular attraction not only for the golfers on the course, tut gets quite busy so expect a small delay I'd you are stopping in for a quick bite half way through your round.

There are some holes that are really good and have very nice greens But then you turn a corner and there are fairways that look like they have been sitting “under construction” forever

(there are temporary tee boxes on some holes and it took me 10 min to find the one because it is very poorly marked)

Not 100% sure if it’s worth the price when you can go play somewhere like Windsor for 18 for the same price

Hopefully the two fairways can get repaired soon

Played the course this morning for the first time. Course is in excellent condition. Great value for money. Staff at the proshop were extremely friendly. My caddy Raymond made my first time playing at the course a real pleasure.
