Stores in this pathetic mall are actually disgusting.

The movies- compared to every other mall, its always dirty, its old, even the seats are filthy, compared to other cinecentres where they have leather sofas and normal seats and dont have to pay extra for it, this cenima has the same seats for the past +-15 years, and not the mention the horrible experience I had here, I witnessed the manager exploiting the staff all because they are always short staffed and liberty mall promotes this given that they dont do anything about it!

Telkom stole money from my bank account as a debit order the same day I had went in store and paid the owing amount and then debited the exact amount again and was told first that it would take up to 7 days to put the money back into my account and told 30 days.

This malls parking ticket machines never work!

The gaming shop gives disgusting service! When i ask them about certain games for example, like how is the game or will this work with the ps4, the ridiculed me and laughed at me as if I was asking dumb questions.

The istore - my girlfriend and I just stepped in the store and was looking at the phones on display and this guy who works there just came infront of us saying that "oh dont think that it'll be cheaper to buy an iPhone overseas and ship in here, because its not, so just buy 1 here" and this was the literal second time this happened to us!

Edgar cashiers and just horrible to customers, while we were in the long line, there were only 2 tills open and yet there were 4 people there and at 1 point, all the cashiers stopped working and started talking stories and laughing and joking for 10 mins straight while we all were waiting in the lines to pay!

Mcdonalds - we had ordered a large Fries and thy gave us a large box with the box only filled half way! I have posted the pictures on they're reviews. And when I called the manager, she's was so rude and u can see that she is not qualified to be a manager I bet she probably doesn't even have a degree to be a manager and only got the job because they felt sorry for her because no1 would hire her because of what pathetic incompetence she has!

Pedros - they rob the customers of they're portions as well compared to the raisethorpe branch, they give half of what the raisethorpe pedros give.

Steers - the owner of this hires staff and he's not pay them and I know this for a fact because I was just speaking to 1 of the employees told me that they're boss did this to 10's if not 100's of people and thats why people just come and go from here, but I guess this malls supports exploiting people given that it's happening in almost all of the stores in this...

Wow, where to even begin? After being away for many years, it was truly sad and disheartening to see how much this mall has deteriorated. Gone are all of the speciality stores and local businesses - all replaced with national clothing chains. Very sad to see. In fact, if you're not interested in buying clothing, there really isn't that much more available to you at this mall. The interior is looking dated, and very cramped. The mall always had a sense of space and airiness - all gone. There is not much space to walk, as there are kiosks everywhere selling everything from shoe cleaners to cheap cell phone covers. The people at the kiosks also have no issue with harassing people walking past. It felt as if I was at some cheap flea market. Perhaps the worst issue of all is the absolutely DISGUSTING state of the men's toilets - I can quite honestly say I've never been into worse toilets in a shopping centre - smelly, broken taps, broken cubicle doors and toilets that don't flush. Not to mention encountering people congregating inside drinking alcohol - why doesn't security stop this? After a terrible experience inside, the cherry on top was getting to the parking pay station - apart from there not being enough pay stations, and waiting ages to pay, the parking rates are expensive. Liberty mall is a family set shopping mall with ample parking, disabled entry points and facilities. Shops are from kids toys, clothing, eating and appliance stores. Great range and easy to navigate the single level floor. Entertainment comes in th form of a kids amusement park and a train that runs the hallways all day.Evening life is a buzz with movies and eating places of all choices. If you ever lost, the centre court management staff are always friendly and willing to help. Major plus stores are Pick n pay and Checkers with wide variety of grocery goods and treats. Make your way to the lower end of the car park and you can bring your corporate fun days to the go kart track. Buy some laps or buy an hour session. Exiting the parking lot is made easy by a pay box on the way out of the doorways. The multiply lt exits make for a quick and easy drive out. Safety and security is a top priority for the mall and are always patrolling to ensure that everyone is safe.
