Pizza Perfect Parklands — Local services in Parklands

Ordered a pizza via uberEats in the Parklands branch then realised I forgot to choose a gluten-free option. The app says to contact the restaurant directly in such situations. I wanted her to contact the order so I could place a new one. She told me that I should contact Uber. (Both lying?) I explained that I cannot eat gluten as I have IBS. She told me it’s too late to change the order as it’s started already. So, if I’d been in-store, Is this how they’d have treated a customer? She didn’t even apologise and even had the nerve ti tell me that if they stop now, they’ll have wasted the cheese. I reminded her that this was a health issue. She didn’t care. I told her to cancel it and seeing as she didn’t want to waste cheese, she can eat it herself. Poor customer service. I’m recently post op with complications, and can’t cook for myself nor go pick up. Pathetic branch....

If you're expecting fast food.. please go to one of the big chain groups.. this place is about as authentic as you're going to get from a franchise.. it does take a little longer and the pizza is a few Rands more but it is totally worth it! The dough is bought in from head office and rolled out and topped per order. The toppings reach right to the end of the crust. The slices are so loaded that you need both hands to hold it (unless you're doing the envelope fold).. I would recommend this take away to anyone asking where to get delicious, hot, fresh and filling pizza without any annoying barbeque sauce or other gimmicky rubbish that ruins the honesty...

The pizza is great but the wait is very long. I called and placed my order at 18:30, went to collect at 19:00 but only walked out with my pizza at 19:30. This is not the first time this has happened. Understandably on both occasions it was a Friday and chaotically busy.

I suggest that Pizza Perfect only accept walk-ins on Fridays and not allow call and collect. It will be more manageable and not so chaotic. Besides there is no point in allowing call and collect if the customer has to wait +- 30 min when they go to collect.
