Homi, Charity and Tabang were working when I stopped by. They were friendly, gave great drink recommendations (off their holiday menu) and Tabang whipped up the best americano ☕️ I’ve ever tasted at a Starbucks. 💥

🎄 Off the holiday menu: The Gingerbread Latte is definitely for the sweet-tooth’s of the world but loaded with spicy gingerbread flavours that help balance it out and topped with a specially made gingerbread whipped cream.

(Fun fact: this latte used to be a huge hit in the US but is now only served in Candy and SA 🇿🇦 so, give it a try if you can.)

🪑 The space: The cafe is pretty small, with a single table inside and two seating options outside but it’s a great option if you’re on the go.

It can feel pretty crowded if there are more than a few people inside, but service has been timely whenever I’ve been. 🕰

Today my friend and I went to Starbucks at West Coast Village to order the pink coconut refresher. In doing so we both had put emphasis on having little ice in our drink. When we got it back my friend’s drink was half ice and mine was completely filled with ice. I turned to my friend and commented on how much ice there was when the server, Janice, flipped around and abruptly said to me that she had used half a cup of ice with such a vile attitude. This is not the first encounter I have had with her but I assumed she was just having a bad day, just to see that a similar review on their experience with her had been left a few weeks ago. I came back and addressed her in an orderly manner but was met the same terrible attitude to which she grabbed my cup, measured the ice then proceeded to slam the ice in the sink. The amount of ice no longer is the issue here but the lack of respect I was met with, regarding my encounter...
