Simply Asia West Coast Village — Restaurant in Sunningdale

Staff there are extremely arrogant and disrespectful.

We ordered Simply Asia from this branch 4 times just this week. I have to say that the food is absolutely amazing no matter what dish you order.

My issue is from these 4 orders, they were all from the new thai dishes. I had selected to add chilli sachets to all 4 of these orders as there aren't hotness levels on these dishes.

On ALL 4 orders I received absolutely no chilli sachets, and then today they forget my chilli sachets as well as my 2 wontons.

This is getting absolutely ridiculous.

I turned my car around and went back into the shop and I told the lady behind the counter they forgot my chilli sachets AGAIN as well as my 2 wontons. Then the male worker standing next to her gave me a terrible attitude saying "Its just a small thing to forget its not big deal" not only was I offended by this response but when i told him its the 4th time in a row just this week he just looked at me like an idiot. The lady gave me my chilli sachets but I felt so disrespected by the guy that I completely forgot to ask for my wontons.

I order from Simply Asia West Coast village about 7 to 10 times a month.

But after this I will no longer be ordering unless they change...

I have a clear voice, and articulate with a clear neutral accent.

Asked for a half portion, noticed the cashier rang up a full and charged me for it. Fine one mistake.

Ramen was average. Lacking in beef.

The Hongkong what what 268 - 2 Min noodles with tiny bits of cabbage and carrots, meant to be in this magical sauce for R125. What magical sauce. Asked for beef got chicken. Asked for hot, got tasteless. What a classic example of a rip off, annoyed.

I was asked, would you like chopstix, replied verbally yes and made yes acknowledgement with my head too to be told no chopstix...I'm like I said, I asked for chopstix.

To wait 43min for this was unacceptable.

Am I impressed? No, you ripped me off from minute go. The R50 overcharge I got back with insistence because I didn't order full portion. But the mediocre food served at a high ripoff I can't get back.

I will stay away and will never...

I really like simply asia food in general so a 3-star rating is actually quite low in this case. I get take out from this place quite often and I've had very inconsistent experiences. Some have been fine and other times, there's problems with the system or the portions are smaller or there are some items missing from my food (carrots the last time). Sometimes, the medium is really hot and other times it's mild. I still usually enjoy the food from here, though, since they have a good vegetarian selection where most dishes can be made with tofu instead of chicken or beef.

(edit) There are no longer carrots in the green curry veg. There used to be. The place seems to be getting better with their service and if there are any issues with my order, I just take it back and they offer to refund or...
