The waterfall in Tulbach presents a picturesque scene, but its water flow during the summer left much to be desired. Despite typically requiring a permit from the Tulbach Tourism office, our visit coincided with a rare exception, and the outing was unexpectedly free.
While the natural beauty was enticing, the experience was dampened by individuals who set up camping chairs in the pools, indulging in alcohol and playing excessively loud music. Read moreThis is a nature reserve but it's not manned. Still safe to walk. Very few visitors. The first waterfall is around 10-15 mins from the parking area. Visit after rains when it gushes and is absolutely stunning. The second waterfall is 2 hours walking distance from the first and is amazing, but you need to cross two rivers on the way. Not too deep but cold. It is recommended to go with someone who knows the way, since there are no markers or directions. The scenery along the entire route is stunning.
